How to add a new cemetery if you know the location on a map but don't have the GPS coordinates or the address:

#1 Log in to BillionGraves.com.

#2 Hover over Research on the main menu toolbar.

#3 From the dropdown menu, click Cemetery Search.

#4 Find the cemetery location on the map.

#5 Right-click which will create a green plus sign for the cemetery location.

#6 Type in the name of the cemetery in the Add a Cemetery box.

#7 Click Add Border to create cemetery boundaries. 

#8 Move the white dots at the corners of the red box as needed to adjust the border as needed.

#9 Click Add Cemetery.

How to add a new cemetery if you have the GPS coordinates or the address: 

#1 Log in to BillionGraves.com.

#2 Click HERE to add the cemetery information.

Enter the GPS Coordinates and/or Address

#1 Fill out the form with the cemetery name.

#2 Add the GPS coordinates or click the I don't know GPS coordinates box.

#3 Click Next.

#4 Add the cemetery address.

#5 Click Next.

Verify Cemetery Location on Map

#1 Drag the green plus  pin to the cemetery location.

#2 Do NOT add cemetery if it already exists.

#3 Click Add Border. 

#4 Move the white dots at the corners of the red box as needed to adjust the border as needed.

#5 Click the Cancel Edit button or the Save Border button.

#6 Certify the cemetery is in the correct location by clicking on the checkbox.

#7 Click Next.

Verify the Information and Submit

#1 Look over the cemetery information and location.

#2 Type additional information in the box at the bottom of the form.

#3 Click Submit.

How can I find the GPS coordinates of a cemetery?

#1 Find the cemetery on Google Maps.

#2 Right-click on the cemetery.

#3 Click on What’s here? from the dropdown menu.

#4 The GPS coordinates appear at the bottom of the screen.
