How to add a new cemetery if you know the location on a map but don't have the GPS coordinates. 

Step 1: Hover over Research on the main menu toolbar.

Step 2:  From the dropdown menu, click Cemetery Search.

Step 3: Find the cemetery location on the map.

• Type in the location and click the blue arrow button
• Once the general location is found, scroll in to find the exact location.  You can also use the aerial view to be able to find it better. 

Step 4:  Right-click in the location where the cemetery is.  This will create a blue cemetery pin. 

Step 5:  Type in the name of the cemetery in the Add a Cemetery box.

Step 6: Click Add Boundary to create cemetery boundaries.

Step 7:  Add Boundaries around the cemetery.

• When Add Boundary is clicked a boundary around the cemetery is added.
• The white dots can be moved to adjust the cemetery boundary.  
• If you make a mistake don't worry.  Double click on the white dot to remove it. 
• You can also start the boundary over by clicking on Add Boundary again. 

Step 8: When finished click Save.  The cemetery will be added to the map.  

How to add a new cemetery if you have the GPS coordinates.

• The same directions as above, but instead of adding in the name of the town you are looking for, plug in the decimal GPS location. 

How can I find the GPS coordinates of a cemetery?

Step 1: Find the cemetery on Google Maps.

Step 2: Right-click on the cemetery.

Step 3: Click on What’s here? from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: The GPS coordinates appear in a box at the very top.
