If a transcription was made an error, or perhaps you have personal information you would like to add about a headstone on file. this can be edited by doing the following:

The stone below seems to be missing dates of death and birth. Also, the middle name is Ellen. 

Can be done in two different ways. From the original transcription page, and from the Edit Record page. One thing to remember is that the "Edit Record" page will always rank first in editing.  

Method One: To fix on the transcription page:

Step 1: From the life information page, click on the three dots, and choose "Transcribe"

Step 2: On the transcription page, click on the pencil next to the name that needs editing. (Many records will just have one record.  On a family group plot, there may be multiple names.)

Step 3: Fix the form.  You can also add in dates of birth, death, marriage, and burial dates.  Also, if the name is in a language such as Russian, Hebrew, Korean, Chinese, etc., you can add in a translation of the name in another language. 

Step 4: After the record is edited, click "save person" at the bottom of the form:
