Our app is programmed to take the GPS location of a headstone ten times more often than a regular cell phone or camera. Unfortunately, not all GPS devices are alike. Some are better at capturing the location than others. We provide a way to edit the GPS location.
NOTE: USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN PERFORMING THIS FUNCTION
Here is an example of a well-documented cemetery, that had some issues with GPS due to its location in the middle of Manhattan, New York City. The buildings caused the GPS to be off. Most of the pins were displaying on various buildings nearby. The BillionGraves support staff brought the pins into the boundary of the cemetery. Unfortuantely, the GPS was off and displaying in lines.
The record for William Laight is displaying in the corner on this line of graves. There is an online research website for Trinity Churchyard that displays the exact location of these graves.

On the edit record page for William Laight, we chose the manage tab and then the Edit GPS Location button:
William's grave is not in the middle of the road as it is being displayed, but down just a bit from right-hand current location on the right-hand side of the church. The pin can be moved to the correct location. After the pin is moved. Choose "Save GPS location" in the blue box.
The pin is now in a much closer location than it was before. It won't be perfect, but it will now not be displaying in the middle of the road.
