First we want to extend our appreciation in wanting to fix a bad transcription.
What to do:
Select the record and then locate the Pencil/Edit Icon.
Choose to edit the record on the record page or from the transcription page.
Change the fields to reflect what's on the headstone.
- If the transcriber has repeated bad transcriptions or malicious and nefarious transcriptions please contact Customer Support.
Now on what NOT to do:
Do not email the user or use the thank you messages as a way to instruct the transcriber.
