How can I fix a record displaying correctly with GPS, but in the wrong cemetery? (Simple- for less than 10 images.) : BillionGraves

This usually happens for the following reason:

#1 There are two cemeteries bordering each other and the main gate pin happens to be a few feet closer to the record than the actual cemetery main gate pin. (See this article)

If there are less than 10 images and the GPS is in the proper place:

Go to the transcription page of the record in question. Click on the pencil next to the cemetery name in the right-hand corner.

A pop up screen will display asking you to choose the correct cemetery. Click the arrow button to choose the correct nearby cemetery. If the proper one is not listed as one of the choices, please send this into support@billiongraves.com with the URL's of both the record and the cemeteries in question. By choosing a new cemetery it will change this in searches as well as the cemetery search table. Please allow for a 24-48 hour update.

A pop up screen will display asking you to choose the correct cemetery.
